The AIRSYS range of magnetic suspension water chillers offer a highly energy efficient, safe and reliable alternative to traditional refrigeration systems for data center cooling. Through utilizing AIRSYS magnetic suspension air conditioning technology, better and more efficient cooling solutions can be implemented during the design and construction of modern data centers, therefore helping create and sustain data centers which have minimal environmental impact. All AIRSYS magnetic suspension units operate through proprietary intelligent control technology and are not constrained by the lubricating oil restrictions of traditional systems. These units operate efficiently and effectively at low cooling water temperatures, in both regular cooling and free cooling modes. The seamless switching between these modes expands the traditional operational range of the chiller, and eliminates the need for additional equipment or supervisory control a traditional chiller would typically require to operate as effectively. The technology developed by AIRSYS can fully exploit the benefits of the variable frequency centrifugal compressor, and select the optimal speed through real-time calculation of the cooling demand. This ensures accurate matching between the generated cooling capacity of the chiller and the system load, therefore reducing the total system energy consumption.
